You already know that the best method of dealing with emotions is, first and foremost, taking care of yourself, treating yourself with tenderness and love, and taking care of the energy balance of your body. You also know that the best way to deal with them, once they have arisen, is to let go, which is to release them.

In this article, you will learn about the most important methods of working with emotions.

It involves identifying your emotions, locating them physically in your body, and then experiencing them without blaming yourself or others or judging them. Observing the reactions of your body, calling them e.g. throat tightness or pressure in the intestines and experiencing. Expressing my feelings – “here it hurts”, “my heart sped up my work”. Also, you are aware that you need physical discomfort, because it leads you to the fullness of your being, allows you to connect with your soul. You know that you are responsible for your feelings and that you have a choice in how you interpret and react to emotional turmoil.

Probably also you have your own methods of dealing with emotions.

It could be focusing your attention on the part of your body where you are experiencing pain and releasing tension by exhaling. Using essential oils, taking a warm bath or shower, making yourself some tea, or going for a walk to get some air. Sometimes you may also express your feelings by dancing, singing, writing or painting if you need to.

But what to do with the emotions that you did not release in time? What to do with those you have already suppressed? With those that lie in the deepest recesses of your subconscious and stealthily steer your behavior, stiffen your body and cause disease, separating you from your true self? There are also several ways to do this.
