What are Thought-Forms?

What are thoughtforms is a picture of a woman surrounded by thought-forms.

What are Thought Forms and why is positive thinking important?

Contrary to what you think, your thoughts are not just your private matter. In fact, thoughts go much further than words. Unconsciously, you are able to create from your thoughts even energy entities, the so-called thought-forms.

In this article you will learn:

  • What thought-forms are.
  • What they nourish themselves.
  • How they look.
  • How they influenced our culture.

Your thoughts are energy with a certain vibration. Negative thoughts create negative events and positive thoughts create positive results. This is because your every thought interacts with the energy of the universe. The quality of energy is that it can focus and organize. So, the same is true of thoughts. They can focus and organize.

Over time, negative thoughts, especially those related to emotions, can blend into thought-forms. In the electromagnetic sense, this means that you are giving them life in some way. They nest in your mental or emotional body. Thought-forms control them and influence you by depriving you of free will. They make you react automatically instead of consciously. Thought-forms exist in your mind. They are patterns of your emotions, individual intentions, or desires. They get entangled in your mental circuits or aura and feed on your negative thoughts and emotions that originally gave them birth.

Thought-forms are kept alive by being nourished by thoughts and feelings with similar vibrations.

A negative thought looks for another negative thought to be associated with. Thought-form as thought parasites lure our mind to have more thoughts of the same kind, ultimately causing mental dependence.

In other words, the quality of thoughts influences the life experiences of their creator and also influences other people.

If your thought or feeling is directly related to someone else, the thought-form approaches that person and is discharged onto their astral and mental bodies.

If your thought is about you or is based on your personal feeling (that is, most of your thoughts) revolve around you and is ready to react whenever it finds an opportunity. This most often happens when you are in a passive state. This means that you are really in the cage of your habitual thoughts all the time. It is through them that you look at the world. They modify everything that comes to you from the outside. So until you learn to control your feelings and thoughts, you won’t see anything as it really is.

And if your thought does not concern you personally or is not directed to a specific person, it just floats in the atmosphere. Such a thought constantly vibrates with the vibrations you originally gave it.

So thought-forms also exist outside the human body.

Places or objects can store the energy of the human being in contact with it. You have certainly felt the energy of an old house and its former inhabitants more than once, or the history of an object in your hands. Thought-forms feed like spiritual parasites that attach themselves to people unaware of their existence, adapting to their energy. They come from people who have died or from those who have freed themselves from them through spiritual cleansing. They pervade all physical beings through the ether and wait for their host. When they find a host, they trigger thoughts that feed their low vibrations.

So, you are affected not only by your own thoughts, but also by the thoughts of those around you, the thoughts of the dead, and the collective thoughts of the whole society and culture. Such collective thought forms are called egregors. They are much more powerful. So, if they are saturated with positive energy, they can do a lot of good. For example, collective meditations or prayers work on this principle. You must have heard of them during the pandemic or during the recent fires in Australia.

How it’s working?

For example, if you are a painter and want to paint a picture. First you create a thought – an image of this image – a mental image to then transfer it to the canvas. You are able to recall this image at any time. Every time you want. The same is true for a writer who creates the plot of his book and then recalls it many times in his own memory in order to put it on paper. These are thought-forms.

You also create a thought form when you think about, for example, that your husband is cheating on you. This negative thought-form revolves around you, feeds on your fear, and attacks you whenever your alertness is dormant. For example, when you and your husband are watching a movie and suddenly a text message comes to him. You immediately start to think obsessively that your husband is definitely cheating on you. You keep thinking about it until the thought grows so large that it eventually takes physical form and your husband is actually cheating on you.

For example, if you feel sad and you go to the hospital, you may have a mourning thought.

If you believe that you are unhappy with being single, you complain to your friends about it. And when you feel unhappy when you are alone, you create the belief that you will never be happy until you find a partner. This approach creates tension and affects your well-being. It begins to create anxiety that causes you to enter into a relationship with the first person to interest you because you believe it will make you happy. Even though this person doesn’t suit you at all.

Thought-forms usually manifest themselves as behaviors, mental obsessions, or addictions.

Thought-forms can be seen in the aura in the form of vibrating clouds or hooks. Their forms were presented graphically by Annie Besant and Charles Webster Leadbeater in the book “Clairvoyance and thought-shapes”. According to Robert S. Ellwood, an American researcher, and expert on world religions, thought-shapes have had a great influence on contemporary art, especially on the work of Vassily Kandinsky.

Take a look at the following works by Vassiley Kandinsky and compare them for yourself with the thought-form shapes you see in the aura from the book “Clairvoyance and Thought-Forms”. What, do you think Robert Ellwood was right?

Thought-forms may take the image of a thinker or some material object, or they may take their own image. Take a look at the following examples from the book by Annie Besant and Charles Webster Leadbeater in the book “Clairvoyance and Thought-Forms”.

The quality of your thoughts determines their color. The nature of your thoughts determines their form. And definitely your thoughts determine the clarity of their outline.

How Do I Get Rid of Thought-Forms?

The easiest way is to just stop mentally feeding negative energies. It will cause them to dissolve energetically.
