Tarot and other methods of communication with the subconscious.

The Tarot is a woman's face in the form of cups.

Apart from the pendulum, another tool – the tarot – can also help you understand your progress in spiritual development. What is the tarot? A deck of cards that, through a system of symbols, helps the person using it to learn the depth of their inner world by stimulating intuition. Tarot also allows you to get in touch with the collective subconscious mind full of archetypes, the Akashic Records.

In this article, you will learn about tarot and other methods of working with the subconscious mind: runes, the I Ching, and the muscle test.

Opinions on the history of the tarot are very divided, especially since there is no compelling evidence of its origin. Some claim that it originated in ancient Egypt, others that it came to Europe from India with the Gypsies. Others that it was created relatively recently in the 15th century as an amusement game in Italy that made the lives of rulers more pleasant.

Whatever it may be, one thing is for sure – the purpose of tarot is to guide you on your spiritual journey.

Tarot is a form of analysis, a way to discover the secrets of the self and directions to manifest your goals. And the ability to travel deep within yourself and tune into your spiritual center. It helps you develop faith in your own perception of the world. For this reason, it is sometimes called the “Bible of Satan”, and using it is a sin, because, as you know, everything related to self-knowledge and the possibility of humanity achieving enlightenment was not desirable in our world. For the same reason, it is also often downgraded to a meaningless pastime for the game of predicting the future, much like the weekly horoscope in the women’s press.

The 78 tarot cards represent all cycles of human experience.

22 Major Arcana cards and 56 Minor Arcana cards. The word arcana comes from the Latin word “secrets”. Tarot cards are filled with archetypes and deep meaning embodied in the images of each card and the meaning assigned to each card. These cards are numbered from 0 to 21. The images reflected on them encourage you to subconsciously look for analogies between the events in your real life and their spiritual messages. Each Tarot card image has obvious and hidden symbols embedded in the graphic. They are psychological images, symbols that we play with, just as the unconscious seems to be playing with their content. Both the colors and the numbers of the cards are important.

The Minor Arcana is divided into four series resembling regular playing cards called Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles. Each of them has its basic and symbolic meaning. Wands are fire, creativity, energy, Cups water, emotions, Swords air, intellect, Pentacles Earth, material goods. The first ten cards are usually personality and character traits. The next cards are the so-called the court cards of the Oct, Jack, Queen and King symbolize identity.

Used as a focus mechanism, this practice helps to develop your psychic abilities as well as your telepathy, the ability to sense energy and to perceive the phenomena of the astral world. Tarot helps you get in touch with that part of you that gives you hints about irrational gut feelings, intuitions, flashes, or inspiration. The ones that make everyday life seem extraordinary at times.

How does tarot work?

Focusing on shuffling the cards calms the mind and reassures. This allows you to move on to the next phase, which is the selection of one or more cards, asking for tips about your situation. In this way, you stimulate your Higher Self to help you choose the right card. This is how you combine intention and concentration. In the last stage, you read the cards – that is, you interpret the drawn cards according to your intuition.

In essence, tarot readings serve as a symbolic map to your soul. A map that makes it easy to navigate the journey of your life both practically and spiritually.

Another form of working with the subconscious is runes – that is, signs of the Old German alphabet.

In the Old Germanic language, the word rune is “whisper”, “advice”, in Gothic “secret”. They come in several types consisting of a different number of characters. The most popular is the Old Germanic futhark consisting of 24 signs divided into octaves:

  • young runes – the period of childhood

They are divided into energetic, that is, giving energy, and magnetic – consuming. And also, reversible – having a positive meaning and irreversible having a negative meaning.

The meaning of the runes:

Another practice of working with the subconscious mind is also the Old Chinese Book of Changes, I Ching.

It is a system of 64 hexagrams. Hexagrams are pieces made of 6 horizontal lines. Each line can be solid – hard or broken in the middle – soft, symbolizing yin and yang energy. Each hexagram has two lower and upper parts called trigrams and has a different meaning. I Ching symbolizes the pattern of all changes occurring in nature, an image of the Universe’s operation, which can be applied to human fate.

There are many methods of working with the subconscious mind. None of them is better or worse, it’s just that each of us is different and communicates with our own subconscious in a different way. However, you don’t need special tools to contact your subconscious. All you really need is your body. Through it, you can try a tool called a muscle test or a kinesiological test. It will enable you to listen to your body and its signals. Dr. Georg J. Goodheart in 1964 discovered the test and Dr. David Hawkins and Dr. John Diamond refined it.

Why does the kinesiology test work?

Our body stores all our life experiences from the moment of conception to the present moment because it is in fact the source of our subconsciousness. If it reacts to them with stress, feels anxious and anxious, the muscles cannot withstand the pressure and give up, and when the experiences are not associated with any stress, the muscles are strong. This property of our body allows us to distinguish between a positive and a negative stimulus, and between truth and falsehood.

This test can be done in several ways – one loop, two loops, one finger, the elbow test, the snap test, and the fingertip test. In either way, however, the question you put to your body should be framed in an indicative manner in such a way that it can be answered yes or no. You should also do a test before starting to ask the right questions by asking for something obvious, such as “I live in Warsaw”. However, with the help of this tool, we can only refer to the past or the present. This test you can do with someone or by yourself.

Two methods are most popular:

The first way is to test your fingertips. It consists in tightly joining the thumb and middle finger to form a circle. And then, by slightly bending the index finger of the other hand, try to disconnect the circle. If it works without a problem – the sentence is not true.

The second way is to face north, fasten your aura from the bottom up, close your eyes, warm your hands by rubbing one another, and then use them to warm your kidneys. And then questioning yourself aloud and seeing if your body leans forward to yes or back to them.

Regardless of the method you choose, remember that sometimes the results can be distorted when you are under the influence of prolonged stress, fatigue, or dehydration. When your subconscious mind for some reason wants to mask the answer. Or when your thymus gland, the gland responsible for the supply of vital energy, will not function properly.

The same applies to tarot cards, runes, or I Ching, because intuition is very subtle energy and sensitive to many factors.
